''Tabernaemontana pandacaqui'' grows as a shrub or tree up to tall. Its flowers feature white or pale yellow corolla lobes. Fruit is orange, red or yellow with paired follicles, each up to in diameter. The plant is found in a wide variety of habitats, particularly in drier areas.〔 ''T. pandacaqui'' is native to China, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Australia. It is also reportedly naturalized in the Lesser Antilles, French Guiana and Panama.〔 Common names include windmill bush and banana bush.〔
